OVERNIGHT ITINERARY

Day 1 (Dinner)

Welcome to the Uluru – Kata Tjuta National Park. Your guide will collect you from the Outback Pioneer or Ayers Rock Airport and upon entering the National Park will take you directly to the Cultural Centre for a great introduction to the Anangu and the cultural significance of this land. Afterwards, visit the base of Uluru for an interpretive walk. Those choosing to climb will have the opportunity to do so, weather permitting. (Note: Uluru is a sacred site and Anangu, the indigenous custodians, respectfully ask visitors not to climb it.)

Experience the famous changing colours of Uluru at sunset, away from the crowds, complete with sparkling wine and nibbles. It's a great time to kick back and contemplate the day and the vastness of the desert.

Afterwards setting in at our remote private camp, complete with dinner cooked over the open campfire and a glass of wine before retiring to your swag under the amazing night sky or your comfortable safari tent complete with beds.

Then it’s a short drive to Kata Tjuta (the Olgas), an Aboriginal word for “many heads”, to explore its domes of which there are 36 in total. Pull on your hiking boots and take the Valley of the Winds walk through creek beds, domes and beautiful wilderness. After the return transfer to Ayers Rock Resort your Red Centre experience comes to an end.
